Windows XP 64
Windows XP 64 is the next generation Windows XP platform that provides few advantages for the computing world (users such as you and me).

- Supports for Up to 2 single or multicore X64 processors. X64 processors are more advanced than x86 processors in the sense that X64 can make reference to memory locations in 64bits size, compare to only 32bits in X86.
- X64 porvides much larger memory supports. Up to 128 gigabytes of RAM can be use by applications running in Windows XP 64. And if that much RAM is not enough, up to 16 Terabytes of virtual memory are supported.
As more and more data are required, the supports for more RAM and virtual memory are essential.
- Windows XP 64 can easily support existing 32bit applications by using an emulation layer called “Windows on Windows 64 layer. WoW64 helps to provide supports for software users, especially corporate users where a large amount of investment has been put into 32bits software.
- Development environment for Windows XP 64 is virtual identical to those 32bit Windows XP. Thus software application developer will have a smaller learning curve when migrating to Windows XP 64 environment.
