This problem will happend if some of the files that required by Internet Explorer is damaged. We will have to repair these damaged files by first uninstall IE and then reinstall it.
To perform the repair, we need to do the following:
- Go to Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs.
- Go to Add/Remove Windows Components tab.
- Uncheck “Internet Explorer” and click Next to start the uninstallation.
- After uninstallation, restart your system and repeat the above steps, this time the Add/Remove Windows Components will start the Installation of IE.
Better still, if you really want to avoid such Internet Explorer Script Error, I would prefer to use other better, if not safer web browsers.
Not only we require less security updates for patching, some web browser, for example Firefox provides extra security by adding in filtering for viruses, spyware and pop-ups.
