Well, here are the steps:

1. To copy in Windows XP Dos Prompt:
   1. Right click on dos prompt window menu bar.
   2. Select Edit.
   3. Select Mark. Then highlight any text that you need to copy.
   4. Press Enter and voila. Selected texts are in Windows XP clipboard, ready to be used in other programs.
